Holidays = Thinking of WORK?
Did you think about WORK over the break?
Was it POSITIVE (eg "Can't wait to get back and nail this project!") or NEGATIVE ("I'm dreading going back to work on Monday!")?
Thoughts about work are natural when we are taking a break.
We can observe these thoughts for greater insight into things we may want to change in 2020.
Just because you have negative thoughts, doesn't mean you want to leave your job. It could be that you need to change your perspective or goals.
Having happy thoughts about work, doesn't mean that you are 100% satisfied with your professional position. You may be happy that you have a job whilst you're planning your next move.
However you feel, remember not to be too reactive.
Business holiday seasons are usually high times of emotion and stress.
Simply observe your thoughts.. and recognise how you're feeling (I like to jot my thoughts down). It will make it easier to see trends or patterns of thoughts, which can help you make choices to be the best version of yourself for 2020.
