Fearful at Work?
How do you show your fear at work? Do you second-guess yourself? Or over-deliver?
I recently read a work advice column where someone had submitted an issue regarding their lousy boss.
The columnist responded with some tactical solutions to minimise future frustration, then diagnosed the potential root cause:
We all feel fear at work but we seldom talk about it.
THIS GOT MY ATTENTION!!!!
Think about it. If that's true, how do those fears lead into one's behaviour?
And then what perceptions do others create based on those behaviors?
We are all scared sometimes - don't let the fear impact your performance.
